Review: Imagine a City by Elise Hurst

I was meandering through our local library, waiting for DD to make her selection, when this gorgeous red, covered book jumped off the shelf & into my hands!

Imagine a City is a delight. We turned the pages of this book for 3 nights in a row, to discover another quirky, little drawing. It truly is an amazingly illustrated book.

The detail, matched with just enough rhyming text sprinkled throughout, makes for an enchanting experience, like stepping into a dream, where I could happily live forever.

It would make a beautiful gift for boy or girl. It has that keepsake feel about it.

The Melbourne-based Author/Illustrator has a lovely selection of prints for sale on her website, I am excited to inform you of. Go to http://www.elisehurst.com for details.
